CPAN Testers Discuss Mailing List

The CPAN Testers Discuss mailing list is used to discuss all development and process work behind the scenes with all the tools involved with CPAN Testing. CPAN Uploads Mailing List

The CPAN Uploads mailing list is a READONLY list used to announce all the PAUSE uploads. Web archives are at http://www.mail-archive.com/cpan-uploads%40perl.org/ and http://www.nntp.perl.org/group/perl.cpan.uploads/.

As The CPAN Testers mailing list (see below) is now ONLY an inbound list, the PAUSE uploads are now also posted to CPAN Uploads mailing list. These are used to notify the testers of a new distribution available for testing. Any posts to this list will be ignored.

CPAN Testers Mailing List

The CPAN Testers mailing list was the original place where PAUSE uploads and tester reports were sent.

As of September 1, 2010, the cpan-testers mailing list has been shut down

Due to overwhelming volume, the CPAN Testers list has been replaced with the CPAN Testers 2.0 web-based submissions. See the CPAN Testers 2.0 FAQ for more information.

Prior to the shutdown, over 99% of all mailing list traffic on perl.org was to the cpan-testers list. The CPAN Testers project never intended to use (abuse?) perl.org resources in that way and thank the administrators for their years of gracious support.
